CareerLink is a partnership between the Wood County Board of Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Services, and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities located in Bowling Green, Ohio.
CareerLink serves residents of Wood County who have a Mental Health Diagnosis and/or a Substance Dependence diagnosis beginning at age 14.
Harbor Vocational-IPS, with support from the Wood County ADAMHS Board, is an Individual Placement Support (IPS) model of supported employment. This program model is an evidence-based option that provides individuals with Mental Health and/or Substance Use diagnosis with more support throughout the process of going to work.
The supported model is focused on work being an integral part of recovery and offers an option for individuals whose needs may not match the Vocational Rehabilitation model. Once an individual expresses a desire to work, they are considered from the program.
